Dr. John Marcin
Dr. Marcin is originally from Stuart, Florida. He completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Houston and went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry in 1966. A year later he began practicing in Bradenton, Florida where his original practice has grown to become the Eye Center, Inc.
Dr. Marcin has served as president of the Florida Conservation Association and Commodore of the Bradenton Yacht Club. Currently, he is president of the Manatee River Pram Fleet and an active member of both the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and Bradenton Yacht Club. Dr. Marcin is married to his wife Barbara and is a proud father of four grown children.

Dr. Michael Mackie
Dr. Mackie is a native of Manatee County and joined the Eye Center, Inc. in 1996. Upon graduating from Manatee High School, he attended Auburn University and received a BS in Zoology. He then attended Nova South Eastern College and obtained his Doctorate of Optometry in 1996.
Dr. Mackie has served on many local boards and organizations. He is a past president of the Coastal Conservation Association of Manatee County and has served as a board member of Just for Girls and the Bradenton Yacht Club. Currently, he is a member of the Manatee Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and was a two-time past president. Dr. Mackie is also a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, Hernando Desoto Historical Society, and is actively involved with local high school athletics.

Dr. Sarah Mackie
Dr. Mackie is originally from North Carolina. She moved to Florida and began practicing at the Eye Center, Inc. in 2001. She attended the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and received her B.S. degree in Biology. She then went to Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry in 2001. Dr. Mackie practices full-scope general optometry, including the fitting of glasses and contact lenses, as well as the treatment of dry eye, glaucoma and other ocular diseases.
Dr. Mackie is currently a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce. She is actively involved in the Junior League of Manatee County where she has chaired several events and served on the Executive Committee. She is also a member of the Manatee Young Professionals.

Dr. Ashley Masuga
Dr. Masuga is originally from Chesterfield, Michigan and joined the Eye Center, Inc., in 2008. She completed her undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University in 2003 and obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from Ferris State University in 2007. Dr. Masuga went on to complete a residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, in Miami, Florida and obtained her Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry in 2009.
Dr. Masuga practices full-scope optometry with an emphasis on ocular disease. Along with the fitting of glasses and contact lenses, she specializes in the treatment of eye diseases such as dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. She also performs pediatric eye examinations for children.
Dr. Masuga is currently a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and volunteers for the organization, Just for Girls. She is actively involved in the Manatee Young Professionals serving on both the Leadership Committee and Community Service Subcommittee. In 2010, Dr. Masuga became a member of Business Networking International. Professionally, she is a member of the American Optometric Association and Florida Optometric Association.

Dr. Paige Gillenwaters
Dr. Gillenwaters is originally from Naples, FL. She attended the University of Florida before earning her Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in 2011. Dr. Gillenwaters moved to Bradenton and joined Eye Center, Inc. in September 2011.
Dr. Gillenwaters practices full-scope, primary care optometry, whether it's prescribing eye glasses, fitting contact lenses or treating a variety of eye infections and diseases.
Dr. Gillenwaters is an active member of the Junior League of Manatee County, the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and the Manatee Optometric Association.

Dr. Brad Laudicina
Dr. Laudicina is a native of Bradenton and began working for Eye Center, Inc. at the age of 15 where he quickly found his passion for the field of optometry. Upon graduating from Manatee High School, he attended Florida State University where he earned a BS in Biology. He continued his education at Nova Southeastern University receiving a second BS in Vision Sciences and his Doctorate of Optometry, while earning honors in his primary care rotations.
Dr. Laudicina practices the full-scope of optometry, specializing in the treatment of ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes, diabetic care, in addition to other ocular diseases as well as the fitting of many different kinds of contact lenses and glasses.
Dr. Laudicina is actively involved with Young life, a local youth ministry and outreach to middle and high school students. He is also a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and the Manatee Optometric Association and is always looking to get involved with the community.
